My Zero Waste Muesli Mix
I buy all of my zero waste muesli mix ingredients from the bulk food section at my local grocery stores. Then I come home and mix it all together in a large jar that way it is ready to go for the week. Which makes it a quick and easy breakfast that is healthy for you and the planet. Lately, I have been making golden milk muesli with fresh turmeric, spices, and tropical fruit. Find my recipe below and enjoy!
4 cups of thick cut organic oats
3 Tbs of Pumpkin Seeds/sunflower seeds
3 tbs of chia seeds/hemp seeds
1/4 cup of dried fruit (dried blueberries are my favorite)
Then you add your choice of nut milk
Top with seasonal fresh fruit
And a spoonful of nut/seed butter
For the Golden Milk
Microplane one inch of fresh Turmeric or add 2 tbs of Turmeric powder
Add a pinch of your favorite spices: black pepper, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, etc.
And that is it! This has become one of my favorite breakfasts in the morning and it is easy to pack for work. Please let me know if you try the recipe and how it turned out for you. Thank you so much for being here I will be sure to show you more of my zero waste recipes in the future so make sure you follow along on my Instagram and subscribe to my email list to keep up with my weekly blog posts.
